From 1 December, Lincargo will be part of the Tempcon family when Tempcon Group takes over as the new owner after Lincargo was previously a wholly owned subsidiary of Norrmejerier.
The combination with Tempcon’s line network and Lincargo’s fine-mesh distribution network, which extends from Härnösand to Treriksröset, is very good and the conditions for co-distribution are good based on Lincargo’s well-developed work from before.
– Now we can finally welcome Lincargo to the Tempcon family, which of course feels fantastic, says Christian Hallberg, CEO of Tempcon Group. With Lincargo in the family, our range grows to our customers, where we are part of all stages of the transport and logistics chain from producer to consumer. All the way to the smallest towns in northern Sweden several times a week.
– Lincargo has always had a strong focus on sustainability issues, which Tempcon also has, Hallberg continues. Co-distribution is a key factor in being able to offer customers transport in the most cost-effective and environmentally efficient way possible.
The transaction has been examined by the Swedish Competition Authority and left without action.
