Tempcon’s subsidiary changes its name to Abbekås Transport & Logistik AB

Abbekås Åkeri P-A Andersson changes its name to Abbekås Transport & Logistik AB to better reflect its business within temperate transport and terminal operations. The name change reflects the company’s expanded range of services and at the same time marks a new chapter in the company’s development. A modernized logo follows the name change.

The name change marks a new era for Abbekås Åkeri P-A Andersson AB, now as Abbekås Transport & Logistik AB. The company has chosen to adapt the company name to better reflect its operations in transport and logistics. The new name reflects the broader and more multifaceted focus of the company’s services, including warehouse and terminal operations, as well as its own traffic within the Skåne-Gothenburg-Stockholm triangle.

– Our name change reflects our development and the fact that we are no longer just a haulage company, says Urban Andersson, CEO of Abbekås Transport & Logistik AB. Our business has developed and broadened, and now the time is right for a name change that more clearly describes what we do.

Another important aspect of the name change is that the former owners name, P-A Andersson, has now been removed from the company name as Per Anders Andersson is no longer active in the company. At the same time, the company has preserved the local connection to Abbekås, the place where it all started, even though the head office and terminal operations are now located in Staffanstorp outside Malmö.

As part of the name change, Abbekås Transport & Logistik AB is launching an updated logo. The logo is designed with a new modern typeface, which merges the company’s history stretching back to 1968 with a modern future.

– Abbekås Transport & Logistik AB has a deeply rooted history that we are proud of, adds Urban Andersson. Therefore, it has been important for us to maintain the recognition while developing our logo to better represent our company in today’s modern logistics world.

The logo will be gradually updated on the company’s buildings, vehicles and work clothes during a transition period.
